Digitized Land Registration

Selecting suitable technology is an importantphase in developing a new digital sys

tem. Various phases of development needvaried technological solutions that take

care of any restraints and limits. In India, land-associated fraud is a major issue.

Plenty of cases of forgery and fraud related to land credit are reported. The block

chain technology is a structure that comprisestransactional records and offers trans

parency and security in a distributed environment (Alam et.al, 2020). It exists in a

distributed fashion, where the transactional records are considered to be a chain in

which no user acquires authority over the blockchain. The transactional records in

blockchainare accessibleto all the participants in the network (Norta et.al, 2018). The

originality of the transaction is proved by verifying the digital signature, which is in

an encrypted format.

The challengesthat are overcome by blockchain technology in the existing land

registry system are:

1. Accelerating the process

The blockchain land registry framework offers a disseminated database

in whichanybody can record and access information without the participa

tion of any central authority. Creating a digital title with a blockchain land

registry platform can improve the accuracy of the recording details (Pawar

et.al, 2020). Due to the blockchain’s power to demonstrate authenticity,
